Terms of Service

Last updated: July 6, 2026

These terms govern your use of NagMeLater, a reminder service that works inside WhatsApp. By messaging the bot or subscribing, you agree to them.

The service

You send NagMeLater a reminder in plain language ("remind me tomorrow at 3pm to call John"); we send you a WhatsApp message at that time. One-off and recurring (daily, weekly, monthly, yearly) reminders are supported. The service exists only on WhatsApp, there is no app or account.

Google Calendar connection (optional)

You can optionally connect a Google Calendar to receive WhatsApp alerts before your meetings. Access is read-only and limited to upcoming events; what we access, store, and how to disconnect is described in the Privacy Policy. Disconnect anytime by texting "disconnect calendar". Meeting alerts are delivered on the same best-effort basis as reminders, and each alert counts as one reminder for free-trial purposes (paid and lifetime plans get unlimited alerts). Your use of Google Calendar itself remains governed by Google's own terms.

Cancellation

Cancel anytime: message the word "subscription" to the bot for instructions, or email support@nagmelater.com with your WhatsApp number. Cancellation stops all future charges; reminders keep working until the end of the period you've already paid for. No retention hoops.

Refunds

If the service failed you, reminders didn't arrive, or something was broken on our side, email support@nagmelater.com within 7 days of the charge and we'll refund that charge in full. Refunds for simple change-of-mind are at our discretion, but we're reasonable people: ask.

Acceptable use

Don't use NagMeLater to harass others, send unlawful content, or probe or overload the service. Reminders are delivered to the number that created them, you're reminding yourself, not messaging third parties. We may suspend accounts that abuse the service.

Please don't rely on NagMeLater for safety-critical reminders, medication that keeps you alive, medical appointments, anything where a missed message could cause harm. Delivery depends on WhatsApp, your phone, and your network. We deliver reminders on a best-effort basis and they can occasionally be late or fail.

Limitation of liability

The service is provided "as is". To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim related to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the three months before the claim arose. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including losses caused by a late or undelivered reminder.

Relationship to WhatsApp

WhatsApp is a product of Meta Platforms, Inc. NagMeLater is an independent service built on the WhatsApp Business API and is not affiliated with, or endorsed by, Meta or WhatsApp.

All third-party product names, logos, and brands are the property of their respective owners. They are used for identification and comparison purposes only, under nominative fair use, and their appearance on this site does not imply any endorsement of NagMeLater by, or affiliation with, those companies. We may update these terms; material changes will be reflected on this page with a new date. Continued use after changes means you accept them.
