Why a daily plan works: deciding the night before beats deciding in the moment, when you are tired and easily pulled off course. A plan turns a vague day into a set of small, obvious next steps. The catch is remembering to look at it again.

How to use this daily planner template

  1. Pick your top 3. Before anything else, write the three things that would make today a win. Everything else is secondary.
  2. Block the day. Drop your tasks and meetings into the hourly slots so the day has a shape, not just a list.
  3. Note the rest. Use the notes box for anything that does not need a time yet.
  4. Keep it. Download the CSV to open in Google Sheets or Excel, or print it for your desk.

The catch with any paper day planner

A plan you write and then forget to look at is just journaling. The planner works only if it keeps reaching you through the day, right when the next block starts. A sheet in a closed tab cannot do that.

NagMeLater can. Set a morning briefing and every day opens with your priorities and schedule in one WhatsApp message, then it nudges you before each block so the plan actually runs. The plan lives in the app you already check all day.

A plan you write is not a plan you follow.

A day planner only helps if you look at it again after you close the tab. NagMeLater texts your plan to you: set a morning briefing and every day opens with your priorities and schedule in one WhatsApp message, then it nudges you before each block. Reminders, to-dos, habits and a daily coach included. First 5 free.

Daily Planner Template FAQ

Is this daily planner template free?

Yes, free to use, download and print, with no signup and no email. Everything you type stays in your browser, nothing is uploaded. Download it as a CSV for Excel or Google Sheets, or print it, as often as you like.

Can I use it in Google Sheets or Excel?

Yes. Click Download Excel for a ready .xlsx you can open in Excel or upload to Google Sheets (File then Import), or click Download CSV for the same data as plain text. Your priorities, hourly time blocks and notes come across as rows you can keep editing.

Can I print the daily planner?

Yes. Click Print / PDF for a clean, ink-friendly version with just the plan, without the navigation or buttons. Print it, or Save as PDF to keep or reuse it.

What time blocks does it cover?

The planner lays out your day in one-hour blocks from 6:00 in the morning to 9:00 at night, plus a top-three priorities strip and a notes area. Leave blank the hours you do not need.

Isn't it easier to just be reminded of my plan?

That is the catch: a written plan only helps if you look at it again. NagMeLater texts your day to you as a morning briefing and nudges you before each block, so the plan reaches you instead of waiting in a tab. This template is the paper version; the bot is the automated one.
